This is spiral notebook with one of my original illustrations, hand-drawn for the Royal Swedish Opera when I designed costumes for one of their theatrical productions. Medico della Peste is one of the most famous characters of Commedia Dell'Arte! It would be an original gift for a theater aficionado, a doctor, a pharmacist or a medical student for instance.

I drew this character by hand and colored it with colored pencils in 2020. Medico della Peste is one of the most famous characters of Commedia Dell'Arte. Commedia Dell'Arte was an early form of professional theatre, originating in Italy, that was popular throughout Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries. This illustration was initially a part of a series of costume designs for a show produced by The Royal Swedish Opera, in Stockholm.
