Bonjour!
These are prints of my original hand-drawn illustrations.

My drawings have been printed on a thick matte paper and measure 8.5" x 11" (US letter size: 215.9 by 279.4 mm).

They will arrive unframed, protected in a plastic sleeve, in a hard non-bendable envelope. The shipping in the USA is included in this price. If you're outside of the USA, contact me first for a shipping quote.

Please choose between the white background or the tan, slightly texturized, background. Please note that the prints with a tan background have a 4 mm white edge all around.

Frames are not included. Actual colors may vary slightly as each monitor displays colors differently.

***You can find these illustrations separately. This bundle contains six prints for the price of four.***

Please feel free to ask any questions! More about these illustrations:

I drew these Harlequins by hand and colored it with watercolor markers and colored pencils.
These illustrations were initially a part of a series of costume designs for shows produced by The Royal Swedish Opera, in Stockholm and by the Boston Early Music Festival.
Harlequin (in English), Arlecchino (in Italian) or Arlequin (in French) is probably the most famous characters of Commedia Dell'Arte.
In these illustrations, I drew Harlequin:
- in his typical costume from the early 1700s, with a brown mask, a belt and purse, and soft cap with a rabbit tail. His outfit is made of patches of different colors.
- in different disguises (as a hussar, as a ballet master, as a woman, as a gem merchant, as a parody of Hercules).

Commedia Dell'Arte was an early form of professional theater, originating in Italy, that was popular throughout Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries.

Please have a look at my other illustrations if you like this one, or contact me for specific orders or inquiries.
