Bonjour! This is a print of one of my original hand-drawn illustrations.
This is a real print that will be send to you, not a digital product! My drawing has been printed on a thick matte paper and measures 8.5" x 11" (US letter size: 215.9 by 279.4 mm).
It will arrive unframed, protected in a plastic sleeve, in a hard non-bendable envelope.
Please choose between the white background or the tan, slightly texturized, background. Please note that the print with a tan background has a 4 mm white edge all around.
Frames are not included. Actual colors may vary slightly as each monitor displays colors differently.
Please feel free to ask any questions! More about the drawing:
I drew this Harlequin by hand and colored it with water soluble markers and colored pencils. Harlequin (in English), Arlecchino (in Italian) or Arlequin (in French) is probably the most famous characters of Commedia Dell'Arte Italian Comedy). For this illustration, I drew Harlequin in his typical costume (made of patches of different colors) and mask, and he's disguised as Hercules (or his cousin!). Commedia Dell'Arte was an early form of professional theatre, originating in Italy, that was popular throughout Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries. This illustration was initially a part of a series of costume designs for a 18th century comic intermezzo produced by the Boston Early Music Festival.
