Bonjour,
La Lune a des Yeux explores the moon as a symbol of human presence and emotion. Each painting isolates a fragment of a face framed by the crescent moon, an emblem long associated with Pierrot. The crescent acts almost like a keyhole, offering only a glimpse of the gaze, which shifts from searching to sorrowful, questioning to resolute.
The deep blue backgrounds suggest the night sky, and the golden crescents frame each expression with clarity and focus. In this series, the moon is not distant or abstract, but intimately human, reflecting vulnerability, grief, and resilience.
