Bonjour! This is one of my original illustrations, hand-drawn in 2021.
This is a real print that will be send to you, not a digital product! My drawing has been printed on a thick matte paper and measures 8.5" x 11" (US letter size: 215.9 by 279.4 mm). It will arrived unframed, protected in a plastic film, in a hard envelope. The shipping in the USA is included in this price. If you're outside of the USA, the price will adjust automatically.
Please choose between the white background or the tan, slightly texturized, background. Please note that the print with a tan background has a 4 mm white edge all around.
Frames are not included. Actual colors may vary slightly as each monitor displays colors differently.
Please feel free to ask any questions! More about the drawing:
I drew this Harlequin by hand and colored it with colored pencils in 2021. Harlequin (in English), Arlecchino (in Italian) or Arlequin (in French) is probably the most famous characters of Commedia Dell'Arte. In this drawing, I drew Harlequin in his typical costume (made of patches of different colors) and mask. He's crossed dressed as a woman, with a robe à la française, an oversized fontange and he holds a gigantic pink fan with flowers. This illustration was initially a part of a series of costume designs for a 18th century comic intermezzo produced by the Boston Early Music Festival. Commedia Dell'Arte was an early form of professional theater, originating in Italy, that was popular throughout Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries.
