Please feel free to ask any questions! More about these illustrations: they were initially a part of a series of costume designs for a show produced by The Royal Swedish Opera, in Stockholm.
1) DANCE I drew this Dance Allegory by hand and colored it with colored pencils in 2020. This character is wearing an 18th century dance costume, and many hints to the dance world (can you spot them all?).
2) MUSIC I drew this Music Allegory by hand and colored it with colored pencils in 2020. This character is wearing a typical 17th century opera costume, with a tonnelet (men skirt), a tight doublet, breeches, and many hints to the music world (can you see them all?).
3) THEATRE I drew this Theater Allegory by hand and colored it with colored pencils in 2020. This character is wearing a typical 18th century opera costume, with a tonnelet (men skirt), a tight doublet, breeches, and many hints to the theater world (can you find them all?).
